These numbers re-emphasize how COVID-19 has driven digital acceleration across educational institutions. But at a time when the digital acceleration is happening at an unprecedented rate, educational institutions are also in the need of comprehensive edtech tips.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tip 3: \u201cMake sure you can track your students\u2019 progress\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is done by monitoring their activity, engagement levels, and performance on assignments and tests. The data collected can then be used to identify areas of improvement and take necessary corrective measures. I have a three-step guideline on how to use student tracking to provide a personalised focus to students in edtech: Step 1: <\/strong><\/span>Use the tracking data to identify struggling students and help them get back on track. Step 2: <\/strong><\/span>Use the data to create customised learning paths for each student. Step 3: <\/strong><\/span>Use the data to assess how well different teaching methods are working and adapt as needed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tip 5: \u201cEnsure the edtech tools you purchase cover the entire learner journey\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

Patricia:<\/strong> Edtech for student management evolves from being efficient to empowering when it is implemented across the learner journey<\/a>. By learner journey, what I mean is, from the time of inquiry up until the student becomes an alumnus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most institutions purchase edtech tools that are standalone, siloed, and do not cover the entire journey. I strongly recommend you move away from this approach. There are two reasons for this.
