Financial Times names Classe365 among APAC’s high-growth companies for the 2nd year in a row

Sydney: Sydney-based edtech company Classe365, for the second year in a row, was ranked by Financial Times as one of the high-growth companies in Asia-Pacific (APAC). In the annual Financial Times ranking of 500 of the Asia-Pacific’s high-growth companies released on March 17, 2022, Classe365 secured 165th position. 

Among the Australian companies that were featured in the 2022 list, Classe365 was ranked among the Top 25 (21st position). It maybe recalled that Classe365 featured in the FT Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company in 2021 as well. Last year, the company secured 61st position among 2021 Asia-Pacific (APAC) High-Growth Companies rankings. Further, last year, the company secured 5th position under the ‘education’ category and 12th position among the companies represented from Australia.

Founded in 2013, Classe365 is an education management platform that provides everything needed to manage any type of educational institution. The company offers unified administration and learning tools to manage the entire student lifecycle: from the admission stage until they become an alumnus.

Classe365 has enjoyed highly successful last 15 months during which the company received multiple accolades. Apart from being featured among the high-growth edtech companies by Financial Times, Classe365 was also among the edtech platforms that received the most recognition in the annual Edtech Digest Awards for 2021, released last March. The company won the award for providing the best enrollment & admissions solution, apart from being named as the finalists across four other categories: classroom management solution (CMS), learning management system (LMS) solution, student information system (SIS) solution, and for product or service setting a trend. Further, in the Edtech Breakthrough Awards 2021, Classe365 was ranked as the best SIS Solution Provider. Aside from this, the company was ranked in the Top 50 EdTech companies in ANZ by HolonIQ for two years in a row (2020 and 2021).

Speaking about the recent accolades, co-founder and head of customer acquisition and growth Nandan Keerthi said that it was satisfying especially considering the challenging circumstances over the last year. “We’re very happy with the recent recognitions. Unlike any time in the past, online learning and online student management have been an absolute necessity for all kinds of educational institutions over the last two years. We have had to work non-stop over the last 24 months year due to the increase in demand, but what makes it highly rewarding is that we have been able to serve educational institutions at the time they are needed the most,” he mentioned. 

In January 2021, Classe365 featured and participated in an edtech event ‘Global Summit Series I China’. Classe365 was selected as one of the six most innovative companies from NSW and the event was sponsored by NSW Government, Alibaba Group, Global NSW, and Future Learn. 

Classe365 currently has 5,500+ customers across 130 countries and caters to almost 4mn users daily. The company strongly believes that a good edtech product can find its use beyond just educational institutions. The belief proved right as the product is used not only by K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and academics, but also by government bodies, corporate firms, NGOs, and more.
